About Us
Puoliuni Publishing
Puoliuni Publishing is a Helsinki-based micropublishing house focused on strange, exceptional, and queer literature. The publishing house was founded in 2024 by two friends with a shared love for eerie indie literature.
We are interested in publishing all kinds of texts from splatterpunk prose to melodious lyrical essays. Our goal is to publish unique works of literature that break genre or stylistic boundaries or in other ways are unusual or crepuscular. We want to uplift especially silenced queer experiences, and make them accessible to everyone.
We are constantly looking for new book ideas and publish all kinds of fiction, from short story collections to poems, essays, and novels. Your manuscript can be a collection of short stories, essays, poems, or a longer novel, or other experimental fiction. We will more than gladly help if you are looking for a publisher for your Finnish translation. We are currently only interested in publishing in Finnish.
